Unix/Linux and BASH

Conceptual and practice based introduction to Unix OS and Linux distributions. You will learn to use Born Again Shell (BASH) to use the command line and perform administrative jobs.

High Performance Computing

Use your knowledge of BASH to run high throughput, resource consuming jobs and manage computational resources effectively.

Collaboration on Git

You would be shared into teams and you would use git and GitHub to effectively collaborate with your team and share resources.

This course is designed for persons with little or no background in Python/R so that they can become quickly proficient. Under 5 weeks, you would learn and do a profile-pimping project.
